Huntsville is preparing to host one of its most exciting and extended Independence Day celebrations yet, with the holiday landing on a Friday, July 4th. This fortunate calendar placement allows for a long weekend of festivities, giving locals and visitors alike a chance to experience patriotic fun over ten consecutive days, from Saturday, June 28, through Monday, July 7.
With events happening all across the city—from fireworks along the Tennessee River to bustling block parties and concerts in Big Spring Park—Huntsville’s Fourth of July experience has something for everyone.
June 28: Early Fireworks at Ditto Landing
The celebrations begin early with Ditto Landing’s pre-Independence Day fireworks on Saturday, June 28. Located along the scenic Tennessee River, this family-friendly event includes:
